From May 14 to 17, the first Education of the Future Festival organized by Youth Fusion will be held at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium, bringing together more than 10,000 students over 4 days. Entrepreneur Mitch Garber will be the spokesperson and youth ambassador.

Gabriel Bran Lopez, Founding President, and Rose Lyndsay Daudier, Executive Director of Youth Fusion, are particularly pleased to announce Mitch Garber’s presence at the Festival Education of the Future, a major event that will mark the organization’s 10th anniversary. Mr. Garber regularly speaks on issues related to education in general but also on the issue of early school leaving in particular. His notoriety and experience as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cirque du Soleil and in various fields present at Fusion Jeunesse, such as entrepreneurship, will undoubtedly inspire many students.

« Drop-out rates are a major challenge for our society and, as a father, I am honoured to participate in this unique Festival for Quebec Youth ! said Mr. Garber, a well-known entrepreneur and investor from Montreal.

Mr. Garber will be present on Tuesday, May 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for a tour of activities in the fields presented this day: artificial intelligence, robotics, video games, science and technology, entrepreneurship and leadership. At about noon, Mr. Garber will address the 1000 students in attendance at a special recognition ceremony that will highlight the major partners who have supported Youth Fusion since its inception.

Youth Fusion’s mission is to contribute to perseverance, employability and civic engagement by implementing innovative experiential learning projects that create ongoing links between school environments and the community. Each week, the organization accompanies 15,000 students in over 250 schools in rural, urban and Indigenous communities.
