The 5^th edition of Youth Fusion’s Pigunnaniq (talent in Inuktituk) Festival, which took place on December 9 and 10 2017 in Kuujjuarapik, was a great success ! Young Inuit talents from 5 Northern Villages of Nunavik gathered together to share the stage with accomplished Indigenous artists, Twin Flames.

These students, from 12 to 18 years old, participate in Youth Fusion’s Performing Arts Program throughout the school year. Under the supervision of their project coordinator and local animator, they develop their musical and artistic talents during workshops that are offered in class and after school.

Chloé Gervais, Youth Fusion Video Game project manager, and Simon Tremblay, Operation and Partnership Director for Eastern Quebec, were at the launching of this year video game theme “change makers” which took place this morning at the Ubisoft Quebec office, our long-time partner. This event was also a great opportunity to present mentors participating in the project and different professions related to the video game industry. Have fun creating !

Gabriel Bran Lopez, President and Founder of Youth Fusion, has been selected to attend the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit which takes place this year in Hyderabad, India. The United States and India will co-host the event which will be held on November 28-30, 2017. Mr. Bran Lopez is the only participant from Montréal, Quebec. He is joining 1,500 delegates from around the world.

This year’s Summit will focus on supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth globally. Participants represent four key industry sectors: Energy and Infrastructure, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Financial Technology and Digital Economy, and Media and Entertainment.

“I am proud to be representing Canada, Quebec and Montreal in this Summit because Youth Fusion’s innovative model touches entrepreneurship and digital projects with hands-on solutions that can be replicable anywhere in the world” mentioned Gabriel Bran Lopez.

Emmanuelle Globensky, gestionnaire en design urbain à Fusion Jeunesse, est présentatrice au Colloque 2017 de l’ADUQ ce vendredi 17 novembre. C’est sous le thème de Ville (post)festive que se déroule cette année le colloque 2017 de l’Association du Design Urbain du Québec. Emmanuelle y présente la proposition de Fusion Jeunesse sous le sous-thème de l’implication des citoyens et l’impact sur ceux-ci. Bravo Emmanuelle !

Gabriel Bran Lopez, Président Fondateur de Fusion Jeunesse sera panéliste à la Conférence Creative Influencers au Enercare Centre de Toronto mardi le 21 novembre 2017 sous le thème Art + Culture & Entrepreneurship. La conférence, animée par Claudine Larivière, rassemble plusieurs influenceurs qui ont adopté une nouvelle façon de concevoir et vivre l’entreprenariat notamment par les arts et la culture. Place à la créativité !

The students from GL Roberts Collegiate (Oshawa) in Youth Fusion’s Cinema Program had the unique opportunity to visit the set of CTV’s television show Designated Survivor. The students got a full tour of the film studio, and even chat with the crew on set ! The students at GL Roberts are currently working on their own movie scripts, which will be shown at the Film Gala in Toronto in May 2018. Élections municipales : Fusion Jeunesse félicite Mme. Plante et remercie M. Coderre

Toute l’équipe de Fusion Jeunesse tient à féliciter Mme Valérie Plante qui devient la première femme Mairesse de Montréal. Nous lui souhaitons bon succès dans ses nouvelles fonctions et espérons avoir le plaisir de collaborer prochainement avec la nouvelle administration pour l’avancement des jeunes de notre métropole.

Nous tenons également à remercier chaleureusement M. Coderre pour son appui indéfectible à notre organisme au cours des quatre dernières années. Ce soutien a contribué à ce que plusieurs projets de Fusion Jeunesse voient le jour, notamment celui de Design 375 qui a permis à des centaines d’élèves d’embellir l’environnement extérieur de 25 écoles dans 5 commissions scolaires de Montréal.
