Under the authority of Youth Fusion and Robotique FIRST Quebec’s President, you will work in close collaboration with the members of the team to complete all projects, events and team deliverables, including support to regions and provinces. You will be responsible for the coordination of the production of communication tools as well as the writing and reviewing the website’s content of the organization.

You will be responsible for the visual identity of Youth Fusion and Robotique FIRST Quebec, and ensure that the quality of which is maintained in every document produced (paper and web).

Finally, in conjunction with every branch involved in the development of Youth Fusion projects, you need to ensure the cohesion between what is done in Quebec and what is implanted elsewhere.

You will be responsible for:

  • Plan and develop communications strategies;
  • Act as a communication counsellor for Youth Fusion and Robotique FIRST Quebec, both during events and regular times;
  • Ensure that all documents emitted by the organizations comply with the image that it wishes to project;
  • Take an active part in elaborating the Youth Fusion website’s content and propose models respecting the organization’s image;
  • Elaborate marketing strategies to sell our products in school environments as well as for Fusion Connexion;
  • Produce and revise documents;
  • Develop a social media strategy, based on the various needs, ensure the follow-up and the answers to comments that are brought up;
  • Write press releases/media advisory and ensure press relations;
  • Develop and maintain a bank of translators, especially for aboriginal languages;
  • Develop efficient internal communication strategies (InfoFusion/Common glossary/ establish processes);
  • Support the team for any need in the office (produce promotional material, document for job posting notably in the journals or other medias);
  • Manage the media platforms (Youtube, Flickr, Vimeo, etc.);
  • Other related tasks in relation to the position.




  • University education in communications, public relations or any other education deemed equivalent


  • 3 to 5 year or experience in a communication manager’s role


  • Efficicent management of time and priorities
  • Great thoroughness
  • Resourcefulness, autonomy and adaptation, sense of initiative and creativity
  • Ability to work with short deadlines and high expectations
  • Ability to innovate


  • Spoken and written French
  • Spoken and written English

Technical knowledge

  • Office Suite
  • Adobe Suite CC (InDesign, Photoshop)
  • WordPress (asset)
  • Ease with social medias
