    Hélèves en péril
While Marie-Hélène, a teacher, and her students are on a quest toward Saint-Raymond Forest to find geocaches, Gabriel is in detention and is writing in his journal a gruesome version of the expedition, which he’s not part of, to the viewers. In his story, the students he hates and the teacher, fall into a vortex that brings them to the prehistoric era, dawn of the dinosaurs.

    Theme

On the poster, in the background there is a vortez composed by clouds and forestlike colours. That image is linked directly to the conflict of the film. Indeed, in the story, the students are trying to find geocaches with their teacher in the forest. During their trip, a student find a geocache that opens up a vortex under their feet. The students and protagonists fall in the vortex like it's depicted on the poster. Moreover, we see Romy, the actress at the bottom right of the poster, the one that touches the geocache in the story, holding a geocache in her hand. Moreover, a symbol of geocaching is right behind her. Gabriel, the actor standing at the bottom left of the poster, is the narrator and the one writing the story. It's him who decides what awaits the others in the story where he's looking for revenge, explaining his pensieve and evil look towards the public. Gabriel was banned from the geocache trip because he played a prank on Romy. The teacher placed him in detention et forced him to write, despite the fact that he hates writing. Gabriel's awakening is to discover his new intrest for writing story and storytelling when the subject inspires him.

The title is scary enough to illustrate the different elements of suspense in the story. The logo of the production company is also linked to the story since the presence of the narrator writing the story of the other characters. Moreover, this represents Marie-Hélène's class well enough since her students read a lot and wrote a novel last year. It's the logo of the school L'Apprenti-Sage, but modify so the person seems to be looking like a writer.

They go back to Ms. Isabelle’s classroom and explain the whole situation, but no one believes them, except for one student who tells them that his father was once a zombie and recovered. Ms. Isabelle stops the discussion and starts the day. In the middle of math class, the infected student does not feel well and goes to the restroom. In the restroom, he turns into a zombie. He comes back to class, and everyone panics and gets bitten. The class becomes a zombie class, and only the student who believed in zombies is still a human, and she is making a cure in the corner of the classroom.

    Theme

Here, the awakening is principally found in two aspects. First the trust towards strangers that is sometimes misplaced, but second is the aspect of teamwork. It would have been impossible for the students to win without teamwork. We can see that when they are trying to escape individually, it just doesn't work. It's only by working together that they are able to escape safe and sound.
