    Become a PROJECT COORDINATOR in Media productions for YOUTH FUSION !

    Description

    While collaborating with the teaching teams, you will be asked to develop and lead weekly activities in class (primary: 3rd to 6th grade) related to the world of media and communication (journalism, photography, podcasts, documentaries, etc.). You will lead students while they produce their own media creations on various themes by combining sound and image !

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Introduce youth to the development and delivery of a message, image composition, media writing, sound recording, design of photo essays, interviews, podcasts, blogs and photo novels, etc.;
    • Learn students how to handle filming equipment;
    • Accompany the students in the accomplishment of all the steps related to the creation of several projects related to these various audiovisual media.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Current/completed university or college program related to the cinema, television or journalistic field OR any equivalent experience;
    • Experience using filming sets;
    • Knowledge of journalistic writing, video production (animation, documentary, reportage) and video-editing;
    • Experience using filming sets and video-editing software;
    • Spoken and written French.

    Will be considered as assets:

    • Any experience with youth with learning or behavioural disabilities
    • Any other experience working/volunteering with youth (e.g., day camps, youth centre, etc.);
    • Desire to be a role model for youth and act as an agent of social change;

    THE ADVANTAGES

    • Contract from September 2023 to June 2024 with possibility of renewal.

    • Bas-Saint-Laurent (Matane, Amqui, Rimouski)
    • Centre-du-Quebec (Victoriaville)
    • Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine (Chandler)
    • $20/h
